What a weekend it was...
The second round of the NHL playoffs began on Thursday with Vancouver taking on Nashville, Detroit battling it out with the Sharks of San Jose, the Capitals taking on the Lightning and Philly going head to head with Boston. There were great games this weekend, with Vancouver and Nashville tied at 1 a piece, San Jose up by 2 on the Wings, the Bolts stealing two in Washington and Boston up one on Philly. Not to be forgotten was the beginning of the NBA second round, with a much anticipated match up between the Celtics and the Heat. Memphis continues their miracle run taking a game in OKC while Atlanta/Chicago and LA/Dallas begin their respective series tonight. Also congratulations to team Canada on a great start to the 2011 IIHF World Championships posting a 2-0 record with a 4-1 win over Belarus and a 9-1 win over Cristobel Huet and France.

Well I guess that is it for now, we are looking forward to the week ahead with the NHL, NBA and IIHF games heating up. As well come on down to the store for some great deals on ball and football gear. Also on Facebook you can find our deals of the day, so take advantage of those!! Finally check back soon for a contest involving a free signed authentic NHL jersey signed by a player to be named.

Have a great week everyone!!
